Retreat Schedule:
Opening: Create community through introductions/ guidelines/ sharing. Morning:Moderate Kripalu Yoga practice to match and release tension. Extended deep relaxation. Release what no longer serves us. Mid Day: 1 hour Lunch Break (connect with others or be in solitude) Afternoon: Long supported holdings to return body/mind to balanced, calm, receptive state. Integrative Yoga Nidra. Closing: What we are we embodying for Spring 2021? Cost: $50 Online Restorative Retreat Props to Have Available: Please bring a yoga mat, 4 small blankets, 4 pillows (meditation cushions or bolsters or throw pillows), chair, yoga tie, eye pillow, journal, water. Lunch: 1 hour. Prep your light lunch before hand so you can enjoy the ease of your break. Take a walk or meditate or join the group for 30 minute check-in during last half. Teacher: Susan J. Littlefield, MA, LMHC has a Kripalu professional level yoga teacher certification (500 hours),Yoga Nidra Facilitator certification, an MA in Holistic Counseling and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. A yoga practitioner since 1995, she has been teaching on Block Island for 26 years. Sue creates a welcoming atmosphere based on the Kripalu tradition of compassion and self-acceptance. Sue has led restorative yoga retreats since 2008 in New England, NY and CA. She has released an instructional yoga CD entitled Tidal Flow
