Beginner (no experience )
This class is for everyBODY. Gentle practice with detailed guidance to release physical and mental stress; promote relaxation and strengthen and tone the muscles, joints and spine. Beautiful introduction for the first time practitioner or a restorative class for all practitioners. Classes for 2023 will be in person, but we will no longer be requiring proof of vaccination to attend indoor classes. We ask that you keep your practice at home if you are feeling ill. Masks are always welcomed! |
Ball Rolling (less experience )
Great way to begin a beautiful day on Block Island. This class will use balls to engage in deep tissue self massage. Suitable for all levels, we will breathe and roll to release chronic tension and more recent tight spots. Class always ends with deep relaxation. Social distancing will still be in effect for summer 2023. So class size will be limited. While we have rarely had to turn people away, please show up early to guarantee your spot. |
Intermediate (more experience )
This class includes a full practice of warm ups, pranayama (breath work), postures (asana), longer holdings, and deep relaxation (shavasana). For those practitioners with a moderate to advanced level of experience. Limited props are available, including balls for the ball rolling class. Please bring your own props when possible. Doors and windows will be left open, so please dress warmly on windy days! |
1st time practitioners and those with limitations/ injuries are always welcome. |
